Maternity Services and Baby Health Checks

If you are, or think you might be pregnant, please let us know and we can provide advice and direct you to the appropriate services.

Pregnant patients will be referred to the midwife for an appointment at Engleton House Surgery in the first trimester (within the first 12 weeks) of their pregnancy. Development checks are carried out in the baby clinic with the doctor at 8 weeks. New babies will receive an invitation letter for a GP health examination and their first immunisations at 8 weeks old.
